How do Indian Bhajans come to Switzerland
Some Swiss Sai devotees and musicians dedicate themselves to singing, playing and teaching these Bhajans. For this purpose they have edited books with the transcription from original Indian audio sources of 3 x 108 Bhajans (324 Bhajans) in western music notation.
Why do we sing Bhajans
In 1968 Sathya Sai Baba said: "Sing aloud the glory of God and charge the atmosphere with divine adoration; the clouds will pour the sanctity through rain on the fields; the crops will feed on it and purify and fortify the food; the food will induce divine urges in man. This is the chain of progress. This is the reason why I insist on group singing of the names of the Lord."

Body positivity does not mean you stop taking care of yourself. It means you stop punishing yourself. The traditional wellness model uses shame as fuel. You look in the mirror, dislike what you see, and use that hatred to drag yourself to the gym or onto a juice cleanse. This works for a while—until it doesn't. Shame is not sustainable. It leads to burnout, binge eating, and a fractured relationship with your own reflection.

The data is clear: Health behaviors are far more predictive of longevity than body size. A fat person who exercises regularly, eats a nutrient-dense diet, and manages stress has better health outcomes than a thin person who smokes, never moves, and eats processed food exclusively. Every time you look in the mirror, you will likely have a negative thought. That is the habit. Your new job is to notice it without judgment and say, "That is diet culture talking." Then, find one neutral thing to observe. "My arms allow me to hug my dog." "My legs carried me to the mailbox." The Social Impact: Why This Matters Beyond You Adopting a body positivity and wellness lifestyle is not just a personal project; it is a political act. When you refuse to shrink yourself—physically or metaphorically—you give permission to everyone around you to do the same.
Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you love. That is the only lifestyle guide you will ever need.
