Photography is a form of art that has been around for centuries, with the first photograph taken in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. Since then, photography has evolved into various forms, from portrait and landscape to fashion and fine art. One of the most popular forms of photography is a photo session, where a photographer captures a series of images of a model or subject in a controlled environment.

During the photo session, the photographer and model work together to create the desired images. The photographer sets up the equipment, such as cameras, lights, and backdrops, and directs the model to pose and express themselves in different ways. The model may be asked to walk, sit, stand, or recline, and to show various emotions, such as happiness, sadness, or confidence.

The photographer plays a crucial role in a photo session, as they are responsible for capturing the images that tell a story or convey a message. A good photographer must have a keen eye for detail, a sense of creativity, and excellent technical skills. They must also be able to direct and guide the model to achieve the desired poses and expressions.

A photo session is a collaborative process between the photographer, model, and sometimes a stylist or makeup artist, to create a series of images that showcase a particular theme, style, or product. Photo sessions can be conducted in a studio or on location, and can range from simple and natural to elaborate and themed.

UzSU History

In December 2023, Jasurbek Jabborov, Dono Abdurahmanova, Sabina Olimova, and Asha Bukharbaeva – a group of four students from Uzbekistan studying in the UK came together with a shared purpose: to create a unified platform that would serve as a home for Uzbek students far from their homeland.

They recognized the challenges of navigating academic life in a foreign country while staying connected to their cultural roots. Driven to foster a sense of belonging, they decided to establish Uzbekistan’s Students’ Union (UzSU).

The idea was born out of conversations about the need for a supportive community – one that could not only celebrate Uzbek culture but also empower students to succeed. The founders were motivated by creating a space where students could exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and form meaningful connections.

They envisioned UzSU as a bridge between Uzbekistan’s students and their prosperous future.
