The search term is becoming increasingly common. Why? Because thousands of users download the Malcolm Mann and Steve Taylore-Knowles textbook from VK groups, only to discover that the PDF is password-protected, misaligned, or simply won’t open.

For Mac users: Preview app → Tools > Rotate Left/Right . If your VK copy has only 100 pages but the real book has 212:

Download Google Chrome (if you don’t have it). Step 2: Drag the Destination A1 PDF into an empty Chrome tab. Step 3: Press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Cmd + P (Mac). Step 4: In the print dialog, change the destination to “Save as PDF.” Step 5: Click Save. This creates a new PDF with all restrictions removed.

Why this works: Chrome ignores most owner passwords when printing virtually. If your PDF is missing pages or won’t open at all:

Download a free tool called PDFtk (PDF Toolkit) or use Smallpdf.com (free tier). Step 2: Upload the damaged Destination A1 PDF. Step 3: Select “Repair” or “Reconstruct.” Step 4: Download the fixed version.

Alternative: Use (free for repairs). Go to https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/pdf-repair.html . Method 3: Rotate All Pages at Once For the rotated-scan issue:
